Content: The corresponding report of the following item (Minute 2 refers) contains exempt information as defined in Paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended).   2        CONTRACT AWARD OF 26t REFUSE COLLECTION VEHICLES (9 NO.) – The Director: Communities submitted a report seeking approval to commence procurement activity and award a contract via an established framework for 9 no. 26t Refuse Collection Vehicles to support waste and the council’s fleet transformation.   The council’s waste function carried out weekly waste collections to c76,500 households in North Lincolnshire.  The council also collected waste from 1,200 commercial premises.   As of April 2026, the council would be providing a new waste collection service for weekly food waste.   The council was committed to transforming its fleet, ensuring the environmental and waste needs of the council’s communities were connected to, whilst taking steps to reduce the carbon footprint.   The financial implications of the proposed procurement were set out in the report.   Resolved – That the proposal to commence procurement activity and award a contract for 9 no. 26t Refuse Collection Vehicles be approved.
