Purpose: This report asks the Cabinet Member for Community Wealth Building to agree to allocate funding totalling £8,700 to projects to deliver Preston’s community wealth building priorities.

Content: Resolved – That the Cabinet Member for Community Wealth Building: -   (i)             Approved £3,000 for the Centre for Local Economic Strategies (CLES) to complete the anchor research project currently underway which will report to the Anchor Board on 23 September. (ii)            Approved a fee of £1,200 to acquire aggregated spend analysis data from CLES for FYs 2021/22 to 2024/25. (iii)          Approved £4,500 for CLES to organise an online meeting to promote the North West Mutual to potential investors in the region.
