Purpose: On 9 October 2025 the Grants Advisory Committee reviewed 21 Rural England Prosperity Fund applications received. The applications were brought forward in Appendix A of the meeting reports pack. This notice provides details of the decision regarding the Community applications.   After consideration of these applications, the Committee agreed with the officer’s recommendation and recommended to the Lead Cabinet Members for Economic Development and Resources that the applications from:   1.     Wysing Arts (TWNJWWGP)) be approved funded £23,848 2.     Cam Valley Community Rail  (WFDQXMND) be approved funded £25,000 3.     Whittlesford Parish Council (ZXMJTRPB) to be approved funded £25,000 4.     Meldreth Bowls Club (CFJRLQJC) to be approved funded £25,000 5.     Orwell Parish Council Community Hub (BKJXKBFR) be approved funded £49,500 6.     Shepreth Wildlife Conservation Charity (LJTRXVXW) to be approved funding £45,000.

To accept the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee (see above). The applications were considered in detail by the Grants Advisory Committee, and the recommended levels of funding were within the remaining budget. The Lead Cabinet Members for Economic Development and Resources were also in agreement with the decision. To reject or vary the recommendations of the Grants Advisory Committee and decide on the level of funding (£0 - £50,000) to be awarded for each or defer a decision if further information is required from grant applicants.
