Purpose: This report seeks approval to accept a funded budget increase into the Council’s budget as part of the Council’s involvement with the Sport England Place Expansion Funding. The funding will cover the elements in section 3.2 below.

Content: Resolved – That the Cabinet Member for Resources:             i)               Accepted the funded budget increase in the Council’s budget for full recovery of salary plus on costs of a fixed term contract of £20,294 in 25/26 and £62,710 in 26/27 and £64,591 in 27/28 ii)              Accepted up to £35,000 for the Council to fund a Community Asset Review iii)            Accepted £20,000 as a contribution to the development of a Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
