Purpose:

Content: The Committee’s approval was sought for the proposed fees and charges in respect of the Planning Service for 2026/27.   Members noted that Planning application fees were set by statute, and thus outside of the Council’s control.   Members were content with the proposed fees and charges and the comparative data used for all the discretionary fees to ensure Runnymede remained competitive and represented good value for money.  Officers would continue to monitor and benchmark the figures with regard to Building Control, noting that the Council was not missing out on cost recovery opportunities.   Resolved that –   the proposed fees and charges as set out in Appendix A of the Officer’s report be approved, to effective from the dates within the appendix, or as soon as practical thereafter
