Content: To approve expenditure to extend the scope of the Smoke Control Area 1.  That the total expenditure of £215,142 to extend the scope of the Smoke Control Area to include vessels moored on inland waterways, be approved. The expenditure comprises funds from a Defra Waterways Grant of £166,330, and £48,800 Air Quality Capital Fund -6200-0060 (air quality projects), which may be used for this purpose.   2.  That the proposal to extend the scope of the Smoke Control Area (SCA) to inland waterways including moored vessels in Southwark, proposed consultation arrangements, and Defra Waterways Air Quality Grant fund award, be noted.
