Purpose: To seek approval of alternative Bond cover proposals made by Rother District Housing Company in relation to the Blackfriars development.

Content: Consideration was given to the confidential report of the Deputy Chief Executive that provided details of a proposed variation to the Contractor Bond.  The Bond was required under the Council’s Development Finance Agreement with Rother DC Housing Company (RDCHC) and under the terms of the JCT Design & Build Construction Contract between RDCHC and their Housing Contractor.      RESOLVED: That the proposed variation to the Contractor Bond as outlined in the confidential report be agreed and the Development Finance Agreement be varied to reflect this.   (This matter was considered exempt from publication by virtue of paragraph 3 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended).
