Purpose:

Content: Councillor Juned – Leader of the Council   Consideration was given to the latest version of the Council’s Strategic Risk Register, which would aid effective governance within the Council. The Strategic Risk Register recorded the significant risks to the Council’s operations, key priorities and major projects. Individual services also had their own service risk registers which were included within the individual service plans for 2025/26.   The options available to The Cabinet were to endorse the Strategic Risk Register and agree to the mitigating actions, to endorse the Strategic Risk Register and agree alternative mitigating actions, or to reject the Strategic Risk Register.   In regard to the Development of the South Warwickshire Local Plan and Land Supply, the Chief Executive noted the increased likelihood of the gross risk and proposed moving it from 2 to 3, which was agreed to be amended accordingly.   Accordingly, it was   RESOLVED:   That the Strategic Risk Register, attached as Appendix 1 to the agenda report, amended as noted above, be endorsed.   Note: This item is not subject to call-in to the OSC as it is not a key decision
