Purpose: The County Council is required to establish and maintain a Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) as part of its statutory education function and to make appointments to it in accordance with the relevant legislation.   In May 2025 appointments to SACRE were made, with two vacancies remaining on Committee D.  This report seeks to appoint to one of the current vacancies for an elected member on SACRE.
