Purpose: To accept the content of the Food Service Plan 2025/26

Content: Approval of the contents of the Food Safety Service Plan 2025/26   Confirmation that the Assistant Director has accepted the Food Service Plan. The plan details how the Council will deliver its food safety and hygiene enforcement duties, including its priorities, aims, and objectives.    While it is not an option to not produce a Food Safety Service Plan, it could be incorporated within the Directorate’s overarching service plan as an alternative. However, this approach presents a risk that food safety interventions and priorities may be diluted or overlooked among wider service objectives.
