Purpose: The purpose of this report is to seek approval to grant a licence to occupy for the property at St Chad’s Parade in Kirkby town centre on the main terms and conditions referred to in the report.    

Content: The purpose of this report is to seek approval to grant a licence to occupy for the property at St Chad’s Parade in Kirkby town centre on the main terms and conditions referred to in the report.     The Assistant Executive Director (Development and Infrastructure) hereby:   i)             Approves the grant of a licence to occupy for the property at St Chad’s Parade in Kirkby Town Centre on the terms detailed in this report; and   Authorises the Head of Legal Services to agree and execute any legal documentation on behalf of the Council. The Council could decide not to proceed with the agreed terms, but this would result in a vacant property to remain unoccupied and will not provide for wider regeneration outcomes for Kirkby town centre.
