Content: The Committee received a verbal update from the Chief Legal & Democratic Services Officer in respect of resources and the future delivery of the Internal Audit Service, recruitment attempts and alternative delivery models, considering the prospect of Local Government Reorganisation.     Comments and questions were raised in respect of the following:   ·       Timescales ·       Difficulties nationally recruiting auditors and the three recruitment rounds undertaken ·       External procurement opportunities ·       Review of the Audit Plan   RESOLVED: That the update be noted.
