Purpose:
Content: The Director of Economic Development and Planning submitted a report seeking member approval on proposals to increase this Committee’s fees and charges with effect from 1 April 2026. Service committees had been asked to review their fees and charges in order to achieve an overall minimum increase in budgeted income of 2.5%, as assumed in the Council’s Budget Forecast. The review of fees and charges was co-ordinated by Financial Services, working together with Heads of Service and budget holders. It was noted that if Committee agreed with the proposed fees and charges for implementation from 1 April 2026 then this Committee would meet the 2.5% target for the financial year 2026/27. RESOLVED THAT COMMITTEE: Approve the 2026/27 fees and charges proposed for this Committee in Annexes 1 and 2 of the report, for implementation from 1 April 2026.
