Purpose:

Content: The Director of Community Services submitted a report presenting a proposal to extend the concession offer at Edisford riverbank and around the Ribble Valley 3G.   The land is primarily owned by the Council and is currently providing a wide variety of leisure and recreation facilities.  In addition, there are proposals for further development of the area.    It is expected that there would be high demand for refreshments from especially around the existing 3G pitch area and currently options are being considered similar to the ice cream concession on the riverbank   RESOLVED THAT COMMITTEE:   Delegate authority to the Director of Community Services to implement trial concessionary offers for the Edisford 3G pitch site and carry out preliminary works to evaluate the demand for and feasibility of long term concessionary offers and the potential build of a new permanent structure at the Edisford River bank site.
