Purpose: The purpose of this decision is to fund Cambridgeshire Cats American Football Club, to deliver their American Football sessions taking place weekly at Great Shelford rugby club. This is to help develop participants’ healthy and active lifestyles, but in particular, to help increase participation in American Football, where the hope is new members would join the club and participate in the team more regularly, as first sessions begin at Shelford. The sessions are for any ability of fitness, wanting to be as inclusive as possible to join the club. The target audience is 18-60 years of age. The grant funding is used for supporting delivery of the sessions including instructor travel expenses, marketing and promotion. The application reference number is JRCPMDPS.     Grant sum awarded is £500.
