Purpose: To approve the purchase of new waste and street cleansing vehicles for delivery in 2026.

Content: To award a contract to Dennis Eagle via a Crown Commercial Services framework for 8 x 26 tonne refuse collection vehicles and 1 x 18 tonne narrow refuse collection vehicle. The estimated cost of the vehicles is £2.070 million, of which £1.035 million will be funded by Vale of White Horse District Council in accordance with the agreed cost sharing mechanism.   To move the required budget for vehicle purchases from the provisional capital programme to the approved capital programme.
