Purpose: The report sets out the work programme for the committee for the remainder of the 2025- 26 municipal year.

Content: The report sets out the work programme for the committee for the remainder of the 2025- 26 municipal year.   The Chair provided an update on the Scrutiny Work Programme. The item referred by Councillor Barber regarding Housing Caretakers will be addressed in a report from the Director of Housing at the January Committee meeting. Since the last meeting, a change has been made to the Work Programme: due to resource constraints, the item concerning the provision of banks and post offices has been rescheduled to the March Committee meeting. The Chair also confirmed that Essex County Councillor Lee Scott will attend the January SPS Committee to discuss S106 spending with Members.   Cllr Naylor MOVED and Cllr Gorton SECONDED the recommendation in the report. A vote was taken by a show of hands and it was RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY:   R1 - That the committee approves its current work programme as per Appendix A (of the report).     The meeting closed at 8:40pm
