Purpose:
Content: RESOLVED THAT COMMITTEE: That the application be DEFERRED AND DELEGATED to the Director of Economic Development and Planning for approval following confirmation that Historic England have no issues with the scheme or no response being received by them within the 21-day consultation period, subject to the imposition of the following condition(s): 1. The development must be begun not later than the expiration of three years beginning with the date of this permission. REASON: Required to be imposed pursuant to Section 18 of the Planning (Listed Building and Conservation Areas) Act 1990. 2. Unless explicitly required by condition within this consent, the development hereby permitted shall be carried out in complete accordance with the proposals as detailed on drawings: Location Plan Castle Keep Lighting: Sheet 1 (Lighting Sections) Castle Keep Lighting: Sheet 1 (Lighting Layout Drawing) REASON: For the avoidance of doubt and to clarify which plans are relevant to the Listed Building Consent hereby approved. 3. Prior to the commencement of development, details of the proposed ‘bat box’ provisions and their precise locations shall have been submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. For the avoidance of doubt the agreed provisions shall be installed and made available prior to the commencement of works and be retained thereafter. REASON: To ensure the proposal contributes towards ecological and biodiversity enhancement. 4. Prior to the commencement of development, details of the light fixings and the level of brightness shall have been submitted to and agreed in writing by the Local Planning Authority. The development shall be installed in accordance with the approved lighting scheme. REASON: To ensure the proposal protects and enhances the designated heritage assets.
