Purpose:

Content: Councillor J Rogerson left the meeting and took no part in the debate or the vote.   The Director of Economic Development and Planning submitted a report seeking authority from Members to release Section 106 contributions to Longridge Town Council to facilitate improvement works to Longridge Loop.   Longridge Town Council had confirmed their intention to use the monies to purchase the following to improve the Longridge Loop:   10 x Baxenden Bench 1.5m 6 x Planter 2 x 8-Seater Picnic Table one side 6 x Seated planters 33 finger posts 7x Mendip Outdoor Freestanding Angled Interpretation Board   RESOLVED THAT COMMITTEE:   Authorise payment of £23,375 to Longridge Town Council, for the items set out within paragraph 3.2 of the report, within 28 days of the completion of the works.   Councillor J Rogerson returned to the meeting.
