As a result, urgent woks are required to the lighting. An exemption to Contract Standing Orders was approved to enable the works to the lighting to be conducted as a matter of urgency and the contract for the work has been awarded to Optimum Controls who have knowledge of the building’s wiring, layout and restrictions, having undertaken a number of alterations and repairs to the lighting and have a full understanding of the technical requirements.
