Content: RESOLVED that Council be requested to approve the implementation of a new income banded/grid scheme, set out in sections 5.17 to 5.22 of the report, for working age applicants with effect from 1 April 2026 in order to:   (a) to improve the overall level of support for the lowest income families; and   (b) reduce the administrative burden placed on the Council by the introduction of Universal Credit.
