Purpose:

Content: Before the Committee was a report by the Interim Director for Core Services, copies of which had been circulated to all Members and a copy of which is attached to the signed copy of these minutes as Item 8.   The report before the Committee recommended the investment programmes for Adur District Council & Worthing Borough Council which supported both the strategic ambition of the Council and the vital regular investment toward the upkeep and improvement of public assets and the delivery of services.   Members were asked to approve the new schemes for 2026/27 and the schemes for inclusion in the overall Capital Investment Programmes for 2026/27; and indicatively for future years. The report also informed the Cabinet of the resources available for future capital investment, and updates Members about the financing of the proposed programmes.     Decision:   1.     That the General Fund Capital Investment Programmes for 2026/27 be noted and that the schemes be included as detailed in Appendix 1b and 2b.   2.     That the Adur capital programme detailed at Appendix 1c be recommended for approval by Adur District Council at its meeting on the 26th February 2026.   3.     That the Worthing capital programme detailed at appendix 2c be recommended for approval by Worthing Borough Council at its meeting on the 4th March 2026   Call In: The call-in deadline for decisions will be 5.00pm on 19 December 2025   There are no call-ins for decisions for Council
