Purpose:

Content: The Committee considered a report by the Parks, Leisure and Public Open Space Officer (circulated previously) regarding the approval and release of section 106 public open space funds for projects in Bishops Nympton, Burrington, Instow and Witheridge.   RESOLVED:   (a)  That section 106 public open space funds be allocated as follows:   (i)              £7,140.00 to Bishops Nympton Parish Hall Trust towards the cost of constructing a patio area outside the hall. (ii)             £3,580.00 to Burrington Parish Council towards the cost of providing a new entrance into the sports field opposite the Village Hall. (iii)           £18,044.32 to Instow Village Hall towards the cost of their Go Green Project, which will see the addition of new windows, loft insulation, solar panels and solar battery storage. (iv)           £7,615.00 to Witheridge Village Hall towards the cost of installing new soffits and guttering as part of the ongoing refurbishment project.   RECOMMENDED:   (b)  That the capital programme be varied by £36,379.32 and the funds be released and that the funds be subject to a funding agreement upon such terms and conditions will be agreed by the Senior Solicitor and Monitoring Officer for external projects.
