Content: Report seeking approval of a business case for recommissioning of Young Carers and Carers support contract and draft Young Carers and Carers strategy. DECISION:   RESOLVED:   1.  That the Carers Strategy be approved.   2.  That the Carers Business Case, as set out in Appendix 1 and exempt Appendix 2 to the report, be approved.    3.  That the decision to issue procurements be delegated to the Strategic Director for Safe and Caring Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Health Partnerships and the Portfolio Holder for Children, Families and Schools, and the Strategic Director for Together for Families, including any final amendments to the detail of the procurement approach recommended.   4.  That the decision to award contracts following a successful procurement process be delegated to the Strategic Director for Safe and Caring Communities, in consultation with the Portfolio Holder for Adult Social Care and Health Partnerships and the Portfolio Holder for Children, Families and Schools and the Strategic Director for Together for Families.     Reason for the Decision:    As contained within the report.   Alternative options considered:   None other than contained within the report.   Conflicts of interest declared:   None.   Dispensations granted in respect of a conflict of interest:   N/A
