Purpose: The Council has undertaken business case work and further developed options following the April 2023 Cabinet Report, “Delivering Cardiff’s Sustainable Transport Strategy: Review of Road User Payment Options.”  The report will provide an update of this work and explain the next steps in the preparation of the outline business case.  

Content: The Council has undertaken business case work and further developed options following the April 2023 Cabinet Report, “Delivering Cardiff’s Sustainable Transport Strategy: Review of Road User Payment Options.”  The report will provide an update of this work and explain the next steps in the preparation of the outline business case.   RESOVLED: that   1.   the business case and option development work conclusions to date be noted. 2.   It be noted that there will be a further report to Cabinet Report on the recommendations of the Outline Business Case.   3.   the more detailed assessment in the business case of lower impact options such as a Workplace Parking Levy be supported.
