Purpose: The consent of the Council, as the sole shareholder of Peterborough Limited (PL), is required in order for the company to take certain actions. The reserved matters, requiring the Cabinet's consent, are detailed within a Member Agreement between the Council, PL and PCHLL (PL’s subsidiary). As and when PL needs to make any decision, determination, provide any approval or pass any resolution in connection with any reserved matter they must first obtain the written consent of the Cabinet. The reserved matters include a requirement for Cabinet consent to be obtained before PL makes an offer of employment in certain circumstances.
