Proposed by Councillor Dan Swords (seconded by Councillor James Leppard) it was: RESOLVED that Cabinet: A Approves the purchase of 6-20 The Rows and Rothwell House, noting the immediate financial return to the council, on the terms set out in exempt Appendix A subject to approval of the subsequent recommendations by Council. B Recommends to Council to amend the Capital Programme to include investment of £4,700,000 to cover for both assets the purchase price, Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT), professional fees related to the purchase of both properties and a capital budget to undertake immediate improvement works. Councillor Danielle Brown returned to the meeting.
