Content: Cabinet received the mid-year review of the Treasury Management Strategy Statement 2025/26.   Proposed by Councillor James Leppard (seconded by Councillor Dan Swords) it was:   RESOLVED that Cabinet recommended to Full Council that it:   A     Note and consider the Mid-Year Review of the Treasury Management Strategy covering the period of 31st March – 30th September 2025, as set out in Appendix A to the report.   B     Note that between 31st March and 30th September 2025, the council’s total borrowing was reduced by £22.5 million.   C     Note that between 31st March and 30th September 2025, the council’s investments increased from £13.2 million to £20.4 million, an increase of £7.2 million, with an income return of £4.18 million.   D     Note that between 31st March and 30th September 2025, there was a reduction of net borrowing of £29.7 million.   E     Note that between 31st March and 30th September 2025, one prudential indicator within the Treasury Management Strategy Statement was not fully met, but that the council has already remedied this and is on track to achieve full compliance by the end of 2025/26.
