Purpose:

Content: 1.    That the recommended future model of supported accommodation, as set out in the report, be approved.   2.    That the undertaking of a procurement to commission the following, be approved:                           i.         A Youth Housing Service for a contract term of a maximum of five years (three years with an option to extend for up to two further years) and for the whole life value of approximately £10.49 million.                          ii.          Solo accommodation in Lincolnshire (two Lots) for a contract term of five years (three years with an option to extend for up to two further years) and for the whole life value of approximately £3.548 million per Lot.  If solo accommodation can be commissioned sooner, the end date would align to the end of the Youth Housing Service.   3.    That authority be delegated to the Executive Director of Children’s Services in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Children’s Services, to take all decisions necessary to progress the procurement up to and including determination of the final form contract and the award and execution of contract and any other documentation necessary to deliver the procurement.   4.    That the continued operation of an Open Select List as detailed in the report to purchase Independent Supported Accommodation placements where necessary be approved.
