Purpose:

Content: Councillor A Douglas remained present for consideration of this item following a declaration of interest.   Consideration was given to the nomination of Local Authority Governors to schools seeking to retain their Local Authority governor, in accordance with The School Governance (Constitution) (England) Regulations. The purpose was to ensure governing bodies have full membership and appropriate representation.   RESOLVED: i)                 Cabinet approved the nomination for appointment/reappointment of a Local Authority Governor. ii)                Term of office as determined by the schools’ Instrument of Government.   The above decision was made for the following reasons: a)             To ensure the School Governing Body has full membership.
