Purpose:

Content: Consideration was given to the revised Gateshead Compact, an agreement between the Council, Voluntary Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector, and public sector partners to work together to agreed standards and shared objectives. The purpose was to strengthen relationships, ensure sustainability of the VCSE sector, and maximise collective impact for Gateshead communities.   RESOLVED: i)                 Cabinet approved the revised Gateshead Compact.   The above decision was made for the following reasons:   a)             To enhance the relationship between the VCSE sector and the Council. b)             To ensure a sustainable and resilient VCSE sector. c)             To maximise collective impact and resources to improve services for Gateshead communities and outcomes for local people.
