Purpose:

Content: Cabinet considered a report regarding the appointment of consultants to support the Metro Riverside regeneration scheme.   RESOLVED – That, having considered a report in the absence of the press and public pursuant to Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended), Cabinet: i)                 Agreed that Mace be appointed, via negotiated tender through the Scape Framework, to produce an Outline Business Case and Masterplan for the Metro Riverside scheme. ii)                Agreed the Council enter into a Collaboration and Funding Agreement with The MetroCentre Partnership to establish joint governance arrangements and to ensure that 50% of the costs can be recovered from the MetroCentre Partnership.   The above decision was made for the following reason: a)             To enable the production of a Business Case and submission of a bid to UK Government funding to deliver the Metro Riverside scheme
