Purpose: To seek agreement to the principle of a variation to the existing contract arrangement with Mountjoy Ltd. to allow for mutually beneficial changes to how costs are met/charged, and for the incorporation of new legislation and policy expectations relating to works to Council homes. A variation to the current contract arrangement with Mountjoy Ltd. is sought to enable a move to a Partnership contract model. This will alter the cost model, and facilitate the ability to be agile to legislative changes relating to repairs in social housing. The overall value of the contract will not be increasing, but the variation will improve the sustainability and agility of the contract.
