Content: The Leader introduced the report.   Councillor Morris-Cook stated the narrative is really important. For example the money spent on agency staff looks worse than it is as it is still within the staff costs envelope. The narrative and getting the right metrics helps tell the right story.   RESOLVED:   1.1          Cabinet agreed the Corporate and Improvement Plan milestones and metrics included in the Corporate Performance Report at Appendix 1.   1.2          Cabinet noted the quarterly Corporate Performance Report and progress made up to the end of the second quarter of 2025/26 in delivering the Corporate and Improvement Plan.   1.3          Cabinet considered recommending any areas of concern within the remits of the Overview and Scrutiny Committees to the chairs of those respective committees.   Reason for the decision: as outlined in the report This decision is subject to call-in
