Content: The following Motion was moved and seconded:   "That this council notes the outstanding results in the report by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) on Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS). In August this year the HMIFRS published LFRS report on how well they are performing. LFRS were measured against 11 areas and given a grade for each including understanding risk and protecting the public through fire regulation. Six areas were measured as outstanding and five areas as good. No other Fire Service has been measured so highly.   This council resolves to: Write to congratulate the Chief Fire Officer of Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service and the Chair of Lancashire Combined Fire Authority on the well-earned report and thanking all officers for their service in keeping Lancashire safe. Write to Ormskirk, Skelmersdale and Tarleton Fire Station and congratulate them on an outstanding report and thank all Lancashire Fire & Rescue Service personnel in West Lancashire for keeping us safe.   For information Link to the HMICFRS report Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service 2023–2025 - His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services"   A vote was taken, the Motion was CARRIED.   RESOLVED:   A.    That this council notes the outstanding results in the report by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services (HMICFRS) on Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service (LFRS).In August this year the HMIFRS published LFRS report on how well they are performing.
