Purpose:

Content: Decision by the Executive Councillor – Resources:   That the Strategic Route Surfacing Schemes, as detailed in the report, be approved.   Decision by the Executive Councillor – Highways and Transport:         i.         That the undertaking of an individual procurement process for delivery of each of the Strategic Route Surfacing Schemes to be delivered throughout 2026/27 as detailed in the report, be approved.        ii.         That authority be delegated to the Executive Director for Place, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Highways and Transport, to take all decisions necessary to progress the Scheme up to and including determination of the final form of contracts and the award and execution of those contracts and other documentation necessary to deliver the Schemes resulting from the Scheme specific procurement process.
