Outcome:
Is Key Decision?: Yes

Purpose: Corporate laptops typically have a service life of 5 years and the last major procurement of end user devices (laptops and desktops) was undertaken during 2019/20. Since then, the IT service have undertaken ‘just in time’ procurements covering out of warranty early life failures and units deemed beyond means of economic repair. It is therefore timely to undertake another major procurement of devices to ensure compatibility with today’s software demands (Windows 11, AI powered solutions etc.).
