Purpose: Policy and Resources Committee at its meeting of 12th July 2023 declared the vacant site on the corner of Ditton Lane and Pasture Road, Moreton surplus to requirements and this report recommends the terms of disposal.
Content: Policy and Resources Committee at its meeting of 12th July 2023 declared the vacant site on the corner of Ditton Lane and Pasture Road, Moreton surplus to requirements and this report recommends the terms of disposal. The Assistant Director Property and Investment has approved the sale of the site at Ditton Lane, Moreton, to Persimmon Homes (North West) Ltd for the price as referenced in paragraph 3.4 of the accompanying report. On 12 July 2023 Policy and Resources Committee resolved that the vacant site at Ditton Lane, Moreton, be declared surplus to requirements and the Director of Regeneration and Place, in consultation with the Director of Law and Governance, be authorised to progress and conclude a sale of the asset on the best terms reasonably possible. This report enables the disposal of the property on the best terms possible, in line with the resolution of the Policy and Resources Committee of 12 July 2023. The authority to sell the property was given by the Policy and Resources Committee on 12 July 2023. Officers have followed the recommendations of the appointed property consultants and as such, no other options have been considered.
