Purpose:

Content: The Director of Public Health, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Public Health, Communities and Fire, and the Director of Economy and Environment to approve the decision to;    To allow the smoking cessation element of the Public Health Enhanced Service (the ‘PHES’) contract to expire at the end of the contract term (31st March 2026) and not to recommission this provision from 1st April 2026.    Offer an additional extension to the existing PHES contract with community pharmacy providers for the continued provision of the Sharps Waste Disposal service from 1st April 2026 for a period of no longer than 12 months.
