Purpose: An overview of the planned review of the overall service provided to Housing Tenants and Leaseholders.

Content: A report provided an overview of the current caretaking service and the plans in place to review this in order to improve service delivery and the cleanliness of all Housing Estates. This report was presented to the Committee following a Scrutiny referral request from Cllr Barber. Members requested that a link to the Tenant Satisfaction Survey be circulated to the Committee. The Director of Housing advised that benchmarking results against other Councils could also be included. During the discussion, the Committee agreed that an update should be brought back to a future meeting. Cllr Slade MOVED an AMENDMENT to the recommendation which was SECONDED by Cllr Wagland that:   The Committee note the contents of the report and that all future updates will be the wider review will be reported to the Housing, Health and Communities Committee Scrutiny, Performance and Standards Committee.    After discussions, a vote was taken on the AMENDMENT by a show of hands and it was RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY.
