Purpose: Pursuant to an Authorisation from Cabinet on 20 March 2025: M5 Junction 10 Improvements Scheme – Enabling Works Having previously awarded a contract for the supply of enabling works associated with the delivery of the M5 J10 Improvements Scheme to Galliford Try Construction Limited and having consulted with the Cabinet member for Business, Economic Development, Planning and Infrastructure (as successor to the Lead Cabinet Member for Environment, Economy and Planning) in accordance with a Cabinet decision dated 20th March 2025: DECISION? To instruct additional works under the pre-existing enabling works contract to deliver stage 2A.2 of the enabling works for the M5 J10 Improvements Scheme thereby allowing GCC to demonstrate full satisfaction of the Development Consent Order requirements and otherwise prepare the site in advance of main construction
