Content: AGREED: thatthe signing of the financial assurance letter (Appendix 1) requested by the external auditors of Cardiff Heat Network Ltd (‘CHN’) be approved, confirming the Council’s position as ultimate financial guarantor for the company in relation to the approval of CHN’s accounts for the 2024/25 financial year. This support to CHN will cover a period of 36 months from the financial period ended 31 March 2025, up to a maximum of £1 million. To provide the necessary assurance to auditors that will enable completion of CHN’s annual audit for the 2024/25 financial year.
