Purpose: To commence a small grants scheme to reimburse eligible Groups for the purchase of a flagpole and either a Union flag, a St Georges flag or both flags, and the installation costs of these up to a total cost of £500.   Applications will be considered from Town, Parish and Community Councils and community groups, Borough wide, who own or lease a building or land for use by the Group and hence have a fixed business location or base.   Eligible groups will be responsible for the purchase, installation, maintenance, replacement, and safety matters along with any Planning requirements.   Payment will be reimbursed on receipt of a valid application and provision of relevant receipts which relate to purchase and installation only.   The deadline for receipt of an application and supporting receipts will be 30th June 2026.
