Purpose:

Content: The Area Committee has considered the results of the legal advertising of a proposal to introduce a ‘No Waiting At Any Time’ Traffic Regulation Order on Old Chapel Street and Adelaide Road, Edgeley and has agreed to give approval to the following revised order that reduces the length of the proposed schedule of orders on each side of Adelaide Road from 10 metres to 5 metres, and reduces the proposed schedule of orders from 10 metres to 5 metres on the south western side of Old Chapel Street:-   Proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) – ‘No Waiting At Any Time’   Adelaide Road, Edgeley (Both Sides) - From the intersection of the northern kerb line of Old Chapel Street for a distance of 5 metres in a north westerly direction.   Old Chapel Street, Edgeley (North Side) - From a point 5 metres south west of the intersection of the western kerb line of Adelaide Road to a point 10 metres south east of the eastern kerb line of Adelaide Road. To make the orders as originally advertised.  This has been discounted on the grounds that to do so would materially compromise the parking capacity for residential properties in the immediate vicinity of the proposed restrictions.
