Purpose:

Content: That subject to Council approval of provision of £1.9m per annum through the Medium-Term Financial Plan:   1.    The undertaking of a procurement process for the provision of a county-wide Home Based Reablement Service be approved, with a service budget of £7.5m per annum for an initial contract term of three years with the possibility of a further extension up to 24 months, such contract expected to commence on or around 1 November 2026.   2.    Authority be delegated to the Executive Director for Adult Care and Community Wellbeing, in consultation with the Executive Councillor for Adult Care and Health, to take all decisions necessary to progress the procurement up to and including determination of the final form of the contract, award and execution of the contract and any other documentation necessary to give effect to the above decision.
