Purpose: To seek approval for the project to install renewable energy systems comprising a roof mounted solar photovoltaic array and a wind turbine at Anchorsholme Park and the cafe to improve the park and building’s sustainability, reduce the associated carbon dioxide emissions and energy costs.  

Content: To seek approval for the project to install renewable energy systems comprising a roof mounted solar photovoltaic array and a wind turbine at Anchorsholme Park and the cafe to improve the park and building’s sustainability, reduce the associated carbon dioxide emissions and energy costs.   The Deputy Leader of the Council (Place) agreed the recommendation as outlined above namely:   To agree and approve the Anchorsholme Park and Café renewable energy project, funded through the Streetlighting PFI, Shared Prosperity Fund and Catering Service equipment reserve as per item 8 of this report, financial considerations.
