Content: The purpose of the report is to seek approval for the revised Recruitment & Selection Policy and the Employee Code of Conduct RESOLVED –   (i)       That, subject to the following amendment, the Recruitment & Selection Policy be approved for implementation on 1 March 2026:   Paragraph 3.0 All vacancies should be advertised, externally and/or internally internally and/or externally Paragraph 5.1 Exit interviews should be arranged for every leaver  to read ‘Every staff member will be offered an exit interview’    (ii)     That the Employee Code of Conduct & Ethical Standards be approved for implementation on 1 March 2026.   Reasons for Decisions   (i) To ensure the Council applies a fair and consistent approach to Recruitment & Selection across the Council.   (ii) To ensure the Council applies a fair and consistent approach to Employee’s Code of Conduct & Ethical Standards, with the aim of improving our services to our customers and the effectiveness and reputation of the Council
