INTENTION TO MAKE DECISION   Following consultation with officers I give notice that I intend to make the decision set out in the attached report. If you would like to make any representations to me on this issue please do so by 18 February 2026. The proposal has been developed following long standing concerns locally, but more significantly by the Emergency Services. The Council has an obligation to ensure that the highway network is kept clear from obstruction, and whilst it will inconvenience residents in the immediate locality, this must be its priority. To:   Implement the proposals as advertised.   Abandon the proposals. Consultation has been undertaken with:   The elected Wiltshire Council Member through the statutory TRO consultation process.   The elected Box Parish Council through the statutory TRO consultation process   Emergency services through the statutory TRO consultation process   Members of the public through the statutory TRO consultation process   The proposed waiting restrictions were subject to formal consultation between 14th August and 15th September 2025.   During the consultation period a total of 78 items of correspondence were received in response to the Council’s proposals of which 58 were objections.
