Purpose: Following the construction of a new signalised cycle crossing on Harborough Road and upgrading the existing signalised crossing on New Street to a Toucan Crossing, it was necessary to prohibit a left turn for vehicles travelling Northbound on Harborough Road, into New Street, Oadby.The banned movement was proposed to reinforce the layout of the junction, which will discourage the movement physically.
