Purpose: A procurement exercise has been completed for the ongoing inspection, servicing and maintenance requirements for the Council’s operational depot, called Layard House.   The procurement was an open competitive tendering exercise and was advertised on Suffolk e-sourcing and attracted four bids.   Following an extensive evaluation process, the successful contractor was DPL Ltd, with the award based on both price and quality.   The value of the contract award was £26238.80 per annum with a term of 3 years, with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
